Do you distribute emergency aid or wait for press conference?

Do you distribute emergency aid when it is available or do wait until you have organised a press conference to promote yourself?

It is very sad to read that the Director of Islamic Relief UK Tried to delay Emergency Food Aid to Somalia so that“he could be filmed … to show that Islamic Relief was doing vital work".

He wanted to “get coverage of Islamic Relief’s aid work in Somalia broadcast on UK television, to show potential donors that the organisation was doing good work, and to encourage them to give money so that many more Somalis could be saved."
